Sunday Funny – Rozzana-Saurus-Rex

Well folks, the proceedings of the July 22 meeting of the Vallejo City Council still are still proving to be an inspiration for local artists with a political bent. Or maybe just artists who are bent. Either way, here is another one. We don’t make this stuff up at VIB. We merely publish it. MG

A dinosaur you say? Nay,nay. More like an iron butterfly perhaps.

“When you reach a certain level of leadership, people cannot be neutral with you. They either love, love, love you, or hate, hate, hate you. I am my little people’s star and slave. When I go out ….., I get dressed because I know my little people want to see a star. I seem to be able to only see the positive things in life and the beautiful things in life and when I see, for instance, garbage or ugliness, then I turn my back or I seem to be able to skip it. The problem of the world today is the people talk on and on about democracy, freedom, justice. But I don’t give a damn about democracy if I am worried about survival.
I love everybody. One of the great things about me is that I have a very positive attitude”.

I say imeldific. Love to know how many pairs of shoes our very own imeldific Councilor owns.

It seems that Vallejo isn’t the only one that wanted a “strong mayor” approach. See link about Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson’s own “strong mayor” proposal and the opposition from the League of Women Voters in Sacramento.

*Vallejo* didn’t want a strong mayor government — Osby Davis did. It’s a critical distinction.

Here, Here. We have a mayor who is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo out of touch with what people living in Vallejo want and need. He is a myopic man.

You gotta love those who think visually, and who pictured a Rozzana-Saurus after hearing her hiss and boast about thick skin. Nice work!

Me, I imagine her more like Rozilla de Ville a la Cruella de Ville, but with Very Big Hair, and of course, dripping in bedazzled high heels. Can’t have too many fancy shoes! Then an image of the bad witch from The Wizard of Oz surfaces — was Rozilla looking into a crystal ball when she mentioned those who weren’t at Council, or did she just make up an excuse to vote the way she promised? “THE VOICES tell me to vote for it anyway!” Of course, those who bow to non-existent voices are usually seen as insane. I think the crazy ones in this case are the Vallejo voters who elected Rozzana despite her abysmal track record on the School Board. 2nd largest school bankruptcy in state history, and still she gets in office. I think she should be barred from office, and as for City Council, she’s shown that she has contempt for the work, AND the public.

In observing the behavior of Verder-Aliga, as far back as her disastrous tenure on the Vallejo School Board, I am convinced her only goal is to get medical benefits and a pension from a strong Mayor model. Does anyone else recall that she sued the school district when they cut off her lifetime benefits during the bankruptcy. As far as the citizens she really is just someone sitting in a chair that wants to collect benefits and a pension.

The next time she opens her yap and spews some sort or arrogant, self-serving,ingenuous nonsense, remember, she is just being imeldific (adjective).

Another star is born in Vallejo. Hopefully a shooting star with the same political longevity.

I was told by a political insider that Barbara suffered from alcoholism. This caused her erratic behavior that we witnessed for many years. In my opinion Barbara did very little for the taxpayers of Vallejo or Solano county. It may be true that she waged war with entrenched interests but her leadership did nothing to better the living conditions, the schools or the business climate here in Vallejo. Just as with all other progressive democrats, responsible management is thrown out in favor of feel good programs that accomplish very little benefits to working people.

How did we leap from Rozanna Aliga to Barbara Kondylis ? FYI —-Kondylis lobbied for the barrier divide on Highway 37, she also preserved the River Front Park in Vallejo preventing it from any future development. There are many greed driven developers who do not even live here as Barbara does who would have raped this pristine path for their own agenda . She worked to establish a walk way along the water front, and helped preserve the green belt between Fairfield and Vallejo for future nature lovers in perpetuity. She worked for the rights of women and children, pasrticularly battered women, and she accomplished oh so much more!
Rozanna, on the other hand, was the sitting President of the Vallejo School Board when 60 million tax dollars went missing, she sued the school district also, and has used tax payer money (at this juncture) to go to Japan with the mayor! And lest we not forget, (it is on tape), the night she was sworn in on City Counciul, she openly ‘thanked the COMMON PEOPLE -quote, unquote. She also voted to deny collection of tax dollars (as was voted on b y 76% of the Vallejo voters ) from the MMDs and adamantly voted for the strong mayor concept as explained by Oz,our famous mayor. Note, that he is also currently in Japan with her now using the tax money from the poor people of Vallejo…… that would be the ‘common people’. I rest my case.
