Vallejo sergeant said to pull gun in Oregon fight — Tribble in Trouble Again?

Vallejo sergeant said to pull gun in Oregon fight

An off-duty Vallejo police sergeant pulled a gun during an altercation that began at a bar in Bend, Ore., police said.

Sgt. Michael Tribble, 43, was with a group of people at the Summit Saloon and Stage on Saturday night in the city’s historic downtown, Bend police officials said.

Tribble, who was with Kevin McCarthy, 45, and Kevin Coehlo, 49, got into a dispute with Stuart Epps, 34, and Humberto Rodriguez, 21, police said.

Epps and Rodriguez left the bar, but between 45 minutes and two hours later — just after midnight — they ran into the men again on the streets of downtown and got into a fight, police said.

At some time during the melee, police said Tribble pulled out his gun but did not fire any shots.
